| This is one of the most popular medium range treks in Nepal with many attractions: scenic grandeur, glimpse of Sherpa & Tamang life, rhododendron forest, lakes, glaciers & snow mountains. We trek through dense forest, traditional ethnic settlements, alpine yak pastures and reach Kyangjin Gompa surrounded by snow capped mountains. While crossing over Lauribina pass at an altitude of 4620 meters an excellent view of Tibet is remarkably breathtaking. The trail passes through holy Gosainkunda Lake which has become the site of many Hindu and Bouddhist devotees over the years. Exploring colorful Helambu region with delightful Sherpa villages, the trek affords superb panoramic views of Himalayas stretching from the Annapurnas to Mt. Everest from Shivapuri range and ends in Sundarijal near Kathmandu. |
