Gyjikang Expedition
Gyajikang lies in Peri Himal north east of Manang and is opened only after 2002 for climbing. This expedition takes you through remote Tibetan setting villages of Nar and Phu, near to Nepal & Tibet boarder in the most north of Manang. In the approach to the base camp, we have to follow the popular Annapurna circuit trekking from Beshisahar to Koto and then proceed to Nar & Phu. Besides the climbing teams with prime objective of research, very few teams have climbed this peak.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and hotel transfer

Day 04:
Drive to Beshisahar

Day 05:
Trek to Ngadi

Day 06:
Trek to Jagat

Day 07:
Trek to Dharapani

Day 08:
Trek to Koto

Day 09:
Trek to Dharmasala

Day 10:
Trek to Phu Khola

Day 11:
Trek to Gyajikhang base camp

Day 12 - 24:
Climbing period

Day 25 - 30:
Retrace to Beshisahar

Day 31:
Drive back to Kathmandu

Day 32:
Free day in Kathmandu

Day 33:
Airport departure for return flight.

The Cost Includes:
  1. Equipment allowance, daily allowance & insurance for base camp staff (Sirdar, cook, kitchen boy and liaison officer)

Cost Excludes:

  1. High altitude food and fuel above base camp.
  2. Climbing equipment, tents and personal equipment above base camp
  3. Personal accident insurance and emergency rescue operation.
