Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking
The Annapurna, the most popular trekking region, offers the greatest variety of scenery, people, culture, flora & fauna. The Annapurna massif stretching 70 miles along the northern border of Nepal rising to the height of 8091 meters with stunning views make the trekking highly rewarding.

The Sanctuary denotes its natural serenity, beauty and abode of Hindu Goddesses Annapurna and Gangapurna. The trail leads to Annapurna Base Camp and Machhapuchhre Base Camp passing colorful Gurung villages, terraced fields, dense forest of pine and rhododendron, the word's deepest river gorge - kaligandaki and ancient trade route to Mustang. For the spectacular panoram a extending to Manaslu in the east and Dhaulagiri to the west including unrivalled views of Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) Annapurna, Hiunchuli and others, Annapurna sanctuary offers some of the best trekkings in Nepal. At the Annapurna Base camp you will be surrounded by a spectacular ring of mountains including Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna III (7555 m), Gangapurna (7454 m) and Machhapuchhare (6997 m). One of the highlights of this trek will be a visit to Poon Hill to see the sun rise over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif.

Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu - Pokhara - Phedi by land transportation. Trek to Dhampus

Day 02: Trek to Landrung.

Day 03: Trek to Chhomrong.

Day 04: Rest at Chhomrong for acclimatization

Day 05:
Trek to Dovan

Day 06:
Trek to Bagar

Day 07: Trek to Machhapuchere Base Camp.

Day 08:
Trek to Annapurna base camp and return to Machhapuchhre base camp.

Day 09: Trek to Bagar.

Day 10: Trek to Chhomrong.

Day 11:
Trek to Tadapani.

Day 12: Trek to Ghorepani.

Day 13: Trek to Birethanti.

Day 14: Trek to Nayapool - and drive to Pokhara.

Day 15:
Pokhara - Kathmandu by land transportation.
